SIPCON with 35 years of experience in microtome technology has introduced the latest Cryostat Microtome designed for easy, simple, frictionless, vibration free and comfortable operation, with all controls brought out external to the refrigerated microtome chamber. It is widely used in routine histology, this unit incorporates a small rocking type microtome and is intended primarily for softer tissue.
SIPCON ADVANCE CRYOSTAT is a high performance built, retracting type microtome manufactured as per International Standards for accurate, consistent frozen sectioning at various diagnostic, clinical, histopathological and research laboratories where precise repetition of performance and sectioning of critical material is required.
SP-1060 Advance Cryostat is a unique, well balanced retracting microtome housed in a stainless steel chamber specially designed for low operating temperature. Its retracting mechanism can cut as thin as thin as 1 Micron section with ease and the robust feed system virtually delivers flat, uniform undistorted and consistent sections. The chamber is illuminated with cold fibre current light and housing window to provide clear visibility during operation. The cooling system incorporates thermostatically sealed compressor to ensure quick cooling upto -40ºC.
